We are delighted and look forward to the TREEHOUSE FAMILY PLAY AREA opening 15th March. It looks and sounds like much more than we could ever have imagined or expected!

This large beautiful Victorian Freemasons hall of 1898 just off commercial road on to St Michael’s road (formerly  known as snow toggs) is a much more than expected play area for kids.

The owners have completely updated and refreshed this entire historic and beautiful building.

To the front main hall is the principle Cafe where their interior designer Crispin (with works among others as the Satchi  gallery under his belt) has created a grown up space with bespoke tables, feature lighting and also a few quirky childlike extras to complete the over all look.

It has a stone baked pizza oven and the owners have even a artisan baker to supply the dough. With meatballs and good coffee on the menu, free Wi Fi, daily paper and books this is sure to prove a great success

Down stairs is the yet to be finished party space with another cafe/bar as an ideal private function space.

To the back in its 20ft high hall is the much anticipated play frame built not just for the kids but for grown ups too – with high rise curly slide, tower and even canons to be fired!

We would like to thank Chris and Claire for their investment in the triangle. We are positive this is going to prove a great success and a major plus for the area. We can’t wait to see it open and give it and them our utmost support! More to follow with pictures when open.

A great night at the AB Cinema ‘The Artist’ event

Further to our article of the 4th of February promoting the AB Cinema’s pop up event on Bournemouth pier. We are glad to say that the event was a great success.

All credit to go to the event organisers at The Arts Bournemouth for a fantastic event. It was a full house that sat to view ‘The Artist’ complete with 1920′s atire. The event started with autograph hunters and paparazzi outside the theatre to welcome guests. This started the night off with a very fun and special feel about it.

The Artist AB Cinema Event 14th February

The audience sat down to view the award winning film, the cinema filled with sounds of guests laughter enjoying the start of the evenings entertainment.

The closing credits were met with a rapturous round of applause, whereupon guests were taken next door to be entertained by the authentic 1920′s ‘Red Fez’ orchestra. Dance lessons were lead ahead of a packed dance floor, where guest lean’t the secrets behind period dance moves.

The idea was original and well received by the guests and we very much look forward to the next event.

To be continued…

A big Thankyou to Wilkinson, Bournemouth

A big Thankyou goes out to Wilkinson, our local Wilco in

Bournemouth town centre.

They had promised through their “Helping Hands” when we started our Garden walls project to donate a hundred pounds of materials to help local residents on St.Michaels Road, near the Triangle, so imagine our surprise when we went to collect it last week and were told they decided to double it to two hundred pounds of materials!  A big thankyou goes to Darren Noyle and all the Wilkinson staff, who really have been our good neighbours.

Wilkinson - supporting the triangle bournemouth
