Rancho Steak House – NOW OPEN!

The long awaited Rancho Steak House opened on 21st June! Its opening was something we had been waiting for and to say getting very excited about is a bit of an understatement. We had been watching over the last few months as things progressed and had noted a lot of changes over the last few weeks. . .

This is a very warm an inviting place, On the far left is long seating under warm brick arches and to the back is a stunning original arched stain leaded glass door and panels. The rooms are divided with the bar to roughly the center.

This is a fantastic steak house, offering the finest of south American cuisine and part of a already established business. Thankfully this place, like their other resturants has every thing we were hoping for. A must for anyone who enjoys a well cooked fresh steak for those meat eaters amongst you.

The quality of their food is equal to that found in any of their other Rancho Restaurants, this is a treat and asset to the area. It puts Poole hill and The Triangle on the map for some of the best quality and diverse dining to be found any where in Bournemouth and surrounding areas, all within walking distance of each other!

In The Triangle we now have it all!

The Mad Cucumber  Vegan lounge
is on a very different style and scale to Rancho and opened its doors last week but until its kitchen is finished shall just be serving a selection of teas, coffee and cakes. They aim to have there kitchen finished very soon to serve a very alternative menu to Rancho!

It looks like the much awaited Mad Cucumber Vegan Lounge is finally just about to open! Based in the former Beauty of Bolivia hair dressers in The Triangle, this quirky cafe / lounge bistro looks interesting and a fun place. They are the only 100% vegan bistro in Bournemouth and its location in The Triangle is sure to make it a great success.

They shall be offering a variety of Vegan food, teas and coffees in what they describe as cosy, rustic & upcycled designed surroundings.  Having peered through their windows over the last months we can certainly assure It is different and can’t wait to see it open!

They will be promoting local and mainly organic seasonal ingredients in their food, making it all from scratch.

By there own own admission they ask the question; Fantastic or Lunatic staff? What ever and for that matter who really cares? We shall see – because it and they just seem like they could be right for The Triangle or more to the point The Triangle right for them. For our opinion, we just like the point that they are making a go of it and we whole heartily wish them the Best.

The Mad Cucumber Vegan Lounge can be found at 7 The Triangle, Bournemouth BH2 5RY and be contacted through thier Face book page.

Ristorante La Piazza

In the heart of The Triangle on Poole Hill, you will find it open all the week for both lunch and dinner.

A good sized, welcoming and friendly modern  Italian Restaurant with a full selection of fresh, different foods and wines to suit the most discerning people and budgets.

Since its opening approximately two years ago ( as with its older established, highly acclaimed Ristorante Barolo) it has made a name for its self that stands out high on its own merits among the many good Italian restaurants in Bournemouth.

It is a terrific achievement, a success story not only for The Triangle but Bournemouth as a whole.

Indian Brasserie Mint Leaf

Mint Leaf - The Triangle BournemouthThe Mint Leaf Brasserie comes highly recommended by us, but don’t just take our word for it, and as they say, their meals are as authentic as they are delicious. Renowned regional dishes, with the finest tradition and spices. A glorious fusion of flavour, making them masters of traditional and innovative Indian cuisine.

We would whole heartedly agree with this having tasted their menu (fully!). Don’t be deceived by the casual appearance from the kerb, this restaurant  really packs a punch and offers great value for money with perfect and friendly service.
