The Triangle has a lively night life, with many bars, pubs and clubs to keep you entertained til the early hours of the morning. 2017 will see at least 3 more added!
For a good night out also check out our LGBT+ pages and also our Triangle community group on face book.
CAMRA multi-award winner, The Goat and Tricycle is one of the last ‘traditional’ pubs in The Triangle and indeed Bournemouth,
With a wide variety of good pub food and real ales on tap that are changed on a regular basis. It is every thing that you would expect from your quintessential old English pub.
Two bars, two floors. Still one of the smoothest places around, Its a concept of the owner that we are very pleased to enjoy and share
A Whiskey / cocktail bar not to be missed, for the young at heart.
The newest and largest venue to grace the top of Poole hill. A light and airy venue that is both laid back, clean, very sophisticated & stylish for a more traditional / live music experience. It is I believe one of the best all round venues and one that starts the whole weekend off, with a good selection of cocktails, food & wine. Good music, with some of the biggest names anywhere- with a large stage and dance floor.
A newish establishment to grace the area (formerly in what was the old Bakers arms) It is definitely what I would define as unique and quirky, not your average pub and another great asset to the area, with a unbelievable quantity of very interesting bottled beers ( I counted well over 70 on my visit!) also keg beers on tap. A good, varied selection of live music with a selection of hot food and burgers. A must see and try,if new to the area- if not, you will already know!
An arts venue/bar. A former bank with its vault still intact and used as “the back room”. This is one of the hardest working venues with the sole aim to bring a great, diverse spectrum of live entertainment to the area. We are proud to say its on our door step.
Often overlooked, as many people still think of it primarily as a cafe, but it is also a fantastic bright snack and drinks bar serving wines, beers and cider. It is open seven days a week from 9 in the morning till 11pm. It is to many, the heart of The Triangle and mentioned on this site many times also in these pages under eating, the arts and Cafe. It also has events planned nearly every day and some evenings. Please check out the link to know what they are doing.
