Parking in Bournemouth

As we all know the price of parking in Bournemouth on a day or evening out can be a nightmare. So with this in mind we have put this page together to try and assist with some local information about parking in the Triangle and places where you can put your car.

But before we get into this, first of all lets try to see if we can’t get you here.

Directions to the triangle Bournemouth

Get detailed driving directions and maps to BH2 5RQ  or www.gettingabout.info/

(also gives train, coach and flight information).

Full directions

Turn off the A338/Spur Road/Wessex Way at the Bournemouth West roundabout (B3066 Cambridge Road). At the next roundabout (St Michael’s) take the first exit (left) onto Poole Road/Poole Hill. Continue to the traffic lights where you turn left onto The Triangle. You will see Bournemouth Library just down the hill. Before you get to the library take the road on the left, then turn immediately right, for the entrance to the APCOA Avenue Road car park. At night the car park face is lit by a fantastic spectrum of changing coloured lights.

For alternative parking see Town centre car parks or use the  NCP car park finder.

Blooming marvelous!!

The Triangle Bournemouth, a better place project is pleased to announce that we have successfully applied and received funding for hanging baskets, which have been placed around the Triangle following on from Poole Hill. Our thanks goes to The Green Goals community fund who generously donated £1000 to our brightening with blooms project.

Now the brackets are up and the lamp posts stress tested it will be much easier next year to repeat this.

The Triangle Bournemouth, a better place project extends its thanks to Linda Maguire, Chris Evans (not the radio host) and Chris Hardy. It is also through the dedication and perseverance of Jo-ann Thatcher who project managed this venture from inception though to delivery.

A big thank you to all involved; we are very proud to be included in the running for the ‘Bournemouth in Bloom 2013 competition.’ Bring on 2014!! Bigger and brighter!

Credit must also go to Norman Decent for his effort and contribution on Poole hill.
